Running Philly Means Half Marathon PR

Wow, what a weekend! I just got back from Philly and had so much fun running and following everyone else who ran that I had a hard time coming home. The long and short of it was that I didn’t get my AG award, but got great weather, a good race, and an 11 second PR to boot! “Ain’t Catchin’ Me” goal achieved! Woohoo!
I’m quite pooped now, but here are the stats from today’s race.

Official Statistics from the Philadelphia Half Marathon
Finishing Time – 1:24:14 (11 second PR!)
Average Pace – 6:25 min/mi
Overall Place – 70/7188 (1.0%)
Gender Place – 63/2533 (2.5%)
Age Group Place – 8/421 (1.9%)
Age Graded % – 70.6%

As usual, full report to follow. Hope everyone also enjoyed their weekend!

Go Lam!!! Congratulations on a job well done!

Your running journey this year has been an inspiration for me during my marathon quest. Thank you!

I always say that the best part of disappointing or failed race (even though I know you don't like to think of it that way) is that it makes all the glory and pride feel that much better the next time you race and achieve that PR. Enjoy it...you surely earned it!

Great job! I volunteered at the 60K in the park on Saturday and I could have sworn I saw you running! Took several action shots to show you...but then I read your blog and you definitely were not there! And you now have proof in a new PR! Way to go!
